I offer one-to-one and group sessions for managers of organizations regarding a variety of leadership development topics, workplace mental health concerns, including anxiety, work stress and resilience in the toxic workplace (until you can leave there, and healing for after you leave).
These can take the form of one to one sessions with clients for their specific needs and desires for change; or for organizations, presentations on business and psychology topics, information sessions on wellness, wellness activities and group virtual or on-site meditations.
Sessions with individual clients are typically 50 minutes long, but I may adjust the duration based on your needs and circumstances. I should mention here, that we do not launch into hypnosis the moment the call starts. This is a live session with a human being. Trust the process - there is groundwork to cover first and a pre-hypnosis talk - coaching and talking - to ensure that you obtain the most benefit from the hypnosis.
What happens first?
We schedule a complimentary consultation. This will be a call - by phone or a video call on Microsoft Teams - of around 10 minutes. You can tell me what you would like hypnosis and coaching to do for you and I will tell you whether I think it is a suitable route or not.
How do I book?
The sessions are booked when payment for four sessions has been received; and the booking agreement has been signed and received.
Four is the minimum number of sessions you need to get lasting results. The longer the 'issue' has existed, the greater the number of sessions. It does depend what it is however - for many people, four is sufficient.
This is therapeutic hypnosis, not stage hypnosis where the stage hypnotist gets people to do silly things for a few minutes. If you've lived with the negative effects of anxiety for 20 years, for example, it is reasonable to expect that a series of sessions will be required to learn, create, and adopt new practices in terms of thinking, feeling and behaving.
In short, you would need to check with your insurer. I am an out-of-network provider, but I can provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement that details the service provided and the reason if you wish, e.g. hypnotherapy for stress management or anxiety reduction has often been covered, but remember that it is the responsibility is with the client to check their coverage.
If you have a 'Wellness Spending Account' of some kind, e.g. as the Federal Government does (or used to), it is probable that hypnosis for a wellness-related reason will be covered up to a certain maximum per year. Again, it is for you to check. I am happy to provide a fully explanatory invoice and support you in this in any way I ethically can.


Sessions with organizational psychologist and hypnotist Dr Louise J. Goddard are CAD $165 each.
The minimum four sessions are paid in advance.
